NATURAL STONE CLEANING, POLISHING AND RESTORATION
Marble is metamorphic limestone, crystallized by heat and pressure. Variations in temperature and pressure during its formation, its grit structure, and the presence of other minerals provide great variability in color, hardness and porosity. It is harder than limestone, but is still a relatively soft stone prone to scratching.
It has less durability, higher porosity, and much higher sensitivity to acids than limestone-free types of stone, such as granite. Although, your marble floors were installed already polished, due to their sensitivity, they need to be serviced and re-polished periodically to protect them from further damage and to prolong their life expectancy.
Our floor techs are specifically trained and have many years of experience in natural stone restoration. Once we evaluate your floor, we will re polish it using super fine abrasives and diamonds mixed with either potassium oxalate or oxalic acid which will restore your floors to their like new condition.
