Why Cleveland Businesses Choose Polished Concrete:
|
Polished Concrete Benefits Also Include:
|
SLIP-RESISTANT FLOORING
Despite the shiny look of the floor, diamond polished concrete is way safer when it comes to avoiding slip and fall accidents than most of the other floors, even when wet. This means a safer and more comfortable working environments. Slip resistance per Pendulum method EN13036-4* |
VIBRATION-FREE FLOOR
Super smooth polished concrete floor surface entails minimal vibrations when transporting goods with forklifts, pallet jacks and product carts. Having smooth concrete floors helps reduce forklift and other equipment wear and tear as well as maintenance costs for equipment repairs. A smooth and polished concrete floor is also great for installation of high-bay storage systems due to very stringent demands on tolerances and flatness of the floor. |
SPARKPROOF & FIREPROOF FLOORMany businesses have stringent demands for resistance to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Polished concrete floors have been tested in accordance with EN 1815:1997, SS-EN 61340-5-1, IEC 61340-4-1 and complies with the American ANSI/ESD standard, which makes it an excellent floor solution in sensitive work environments. |

Cheetah Floor Systems specializes in large-scale commercial and industrial concrete polishing projects throughout Northeast Ohio. Our services include:

Industrial Concrete Polishing Designed for factories and production facilities that demand long-lasting flooring solutions. Retail Polished Concrete Floors A sleek and modern finish that enhances retail spaces while providing exceptional durability. Concrete Grinding & Surface Preparation Before polishing begins, our team performs professional concrete grinding to ensure proper surface preparation. POLISHED CONCRETE - GOLD LEVEL
Our Gold level polished concrete is not ground as deep as with Platinum level; however, the floor is polished to the same gloss. It is often refereed to it as "Salt & Pepper" look. Gold level is good choice for concrete floors that are already in great condition and are smooth and even. |
POLISHED CONCRETE - PLATINUM LEVEL
Platinum level polished concrete creates an image clarity value of 70-100%. For a level 4 polish, higher-grit resin-bond diamonds are used. This results in a high degree of shine, so much so that you should be able to see your own reflection on the flooring with clarity. Also, the floor might appear wet when viewed from different angles. |
|
Polished Concrete is Stain and Tire Mark Resistant
Due to the concrete pores being closed up during the polishing process, tires can’t leave their mark on a properly hardened, densified, and polished concrete floor surface. Spills will stay on the surface longer, giving you time to clean them up. Remember, the floor will be stain RESISTANT, not stain proof. Diligent care will ensure a floor that looks beautiful for many years. |
|
If you are looking to spice up your polished concrete and give it some color, one of the most effective ways to dress up polished concrete is to apply concrete polishing dye or stain. Concrete floor dyes are available in a much broader color palette than acid stains, and unlike acid stains, they are not chemically reactive with concrete so the effects tend to be more predictable and less mottled.
Our concrete polishing team of experts can work with you on creating the best possible polished concrete floor by creating more intricate graphic designs and patterns on your polished concrete floors. Dyed polished concrete is perfect for retail stores, art galleries, hair salons, beauty shops but can be also applied to any polished concrete floor. Let us create a durable floor for your facility that will make your work space stand out, look great and be unique. Learn more |
